Austrade’s Grain Mission Program

On Saturday 19th of October Balco hosted a delegation from China as part of the Grain Mission Program organised by the Australian Trade and Investment Commission. The visit to Bowmans provided the opportunity to showcase our Oaten Hay production, and to foster international partnerships, particularly within the Chinese dairy sector.

The delegation comprised key industry stakeholders, including:

    • Agricultural professionals specialising in dairy feed and animal nutrition
    • Trade representatives interested in expanding business relations
    • Potential business partners eager to explore collaboration opportunities with Australian suppliers

The visit aimed to strengthen ties between Australian producers and Chinese importers, focusing on high-quality feed solutions that can support China’s growing dairy industry.

This is a significant milestone for Balco as it seeks to enhance its international presence and expand its market reach in Asia. By fostering international relationships, Balco is committed to playing a vital role in enhancing food security and promoting sustainable agricultural practices, not just in Australia, but also in key international markets. The collaboration between Balco and the Chinese delegation represents a promising step forward in building strong agricultural ties that benefit both parties.
