Founded in Balaklava, South Australia by two local farmers and two local businessmen passionate about driving the progress of the Australia hay industry.
Balco continues to improve its original internally developed Haycare Quality Assurance Program to monitor quality from paddock-to-customer.
Balco has implemented industry leading technology; applying unique barcoded tags to each bale that enable the seamless tracing of every bale back to its source paddock.
As the only HACCP accredited hay export company in Australia, we take pride in leading the industry in quality, safety, and traceability.
