Exploring Future Opportunities with Dezhou Delegation

Hosted by the Murray Bridge Council, the delegation from Dezhou, Shandong Province visited the Intermodal Development of Balco Australia at Monarto Land on 1st July. As a leading exporter of premium Australian oaten hay, Balco shared its strategic vision and investment roadmap with the delegation.

Building a Future-Oriented Facility and Logistics Network

Balco CEO Rob Lawson presented the company’s global agricultural feed supply chain strategy, its industry innovation efforts, and local investment plans. The planned facility at Murray Bridge will be a new-generation green and modern production site. Balco is also working closely with ARTC (Australian Rail Track Corporation) to develop a direct rail connection, aiming to build a high-efficiency national logistics network.

Mr. Lawson emphasized that, under the strategic guidance of the Chair, Balco is not only investing in infrastructure but also inviting like-minded businesses to join the industrial park. The goal is to establish a green energy-supported, advanced industrial ecosystem, contributing to local employment and economic growth.

The Monarto Intermodal Park spans 157 hectares and is positioned to become a flagship precinct for clean energy and advanced manufacturing, offering world-class infrastructure and full-spectrum operational support. This model is set to pioneer a new path for intermodal industrial in Australia.
