Our Growers
Balco Australia’s growers are integral to our success.
We foster a unique, heartfelt partnership with all our growers. Many of our growers have been with us since Balco Australia was formed in 1990.
With increasing demand for Australian hay from overseas buyers, our network of growers is now in the hundreds and expanding as farmers realise the significant benefits of joining the Balco team. Export hay plays a pivotal role as a break crop in any modern-day cropping rotation.
It provides the grower with an alternative risk management strategy and gives them a break from traditional chemical regimes, while producing a gross margin that is competitive with other commodities.
We look forward to providing Australian farmers with a sustainable income, from a growth industry, into the future.
